Starting off with his first release in 2018 with the stage name ‘Urban Hippie Mr. Mickey’ from Bandra(W) in Mumbai, India, growing organically with consistent appearances and shows, but slowly and steadily with an annual release every 20th of April. With an old school Hip-Hop approach to reach out and grow his audience through his rap and music, Rap-Star Mr. Mickey has been patient with his dedication towards the art & culture, while building his releases with Cheddar Records, & brand through Mousetrapp’d! Ent. 

 

Starting 2024, Cheddar Records dropped the collaboration E.P. between Mr. Mickey, rapper Jay Kila , & Producer V.S.O.P. by the name of 4:22 , and we’ve been seeing more frequent releases from his side since then, with 3 fresh releases in February as well.

 

On the 15th of February, 2024, Mr. Mickey is a supporting act for G-Eazy in his tour to India organized by Sunburn. “We’d be bumping to Wiz (Wiz Khalifa) & G (G-Eazy) all the time growing up, those are two of my top favorites in the Hip-Hop/Rap era of 2010-2017. This is the dream! I can’t be more grateful but I just have to keep going till they can welcome me in their cities” says Mr. Mickey, who’d be performing for an hour long, showcasing his released tracks & some from the vault, featuring co-rappers Jay Kila, Limitless & the MaryJane Mob for guest appearances.

 

We are expecting many more releases from Mr. Mickey this year with a cross-country Label Album on the 20th of April, 2024, and his debut album, ‘Mickey not Mickey Mouse’ by this winter.
